The town museum invites you to a historical tour through Neumarkt's rich past. The exhibition provides information on the most important stages in Neumarkt's history from its golden age as town of residence of the Counts Palatine to its destruction in World War II. It also tells you something about everyday life in the region of times past. As a special attraction, the town museum offers an exhibition documenting the history of the Express Works in Neumarkt with rare specimens of penny-farthing bicycles of the 19th century as well as mopeds and motorbikes of the 1950s.
